32 Priority Snow Clearing Streets

(2/8/2013) PRESS RELEASE--February 8, 2013

The following streets have been designated priority routes during this snow emergency. These streets are particularly narrow and if these restrictions are not adhered to, they will not be able to be properly plowed.

Effective immediately and until further notice, parking for the streets listed below will only be allowed on the even side of the street. This means people should park on the side of the house addresses ending in even numbers: 2-4-6-8-0.

Vehicles found parked on the odd side of the street will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. For more information please visit www.cityofnewhaven.com or call 203-946-8221.

When possible, please try to park off-street or in your driveway since the fewer cars on the street, the better we can remove snow and make streets accessible to emergency vehicles.
